Katherine Michaud, Country Manager (Acting), Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eurasia Region

Katherine Michaud currently serves as the Country Manager (Acting) responsible for North Africa within the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eurasia region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity, Ms. Michaud is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in North Africa. She is also a member of USTDA's Traditional Energy and Power sector team.

Before joining the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eurasia region, Ms. Michaud gained experience working in USTDA's Office of Grants Administration. Prior to USTDA, Ms. Michaud worked at the Office of Management and Budget where she oversaw management and budget initiatives in its Health Division. Ms. Michaud also served as a Budget Analyst for the Office of the National Director for Health Information Technology at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Ms. Michaud holds a Master's Degree in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She graduated with honors from Elon University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies.
