Katherine Michaud, Country Manager, South and Southeast Asia Region
Katherine Michaud currently serves as a Country Manager in the South Asia region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity, Ms. Michaud is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in the region. She is also a member of USTDA's Traditional Energy and Power sector team.
Before joining the South Asia region, Ms. Michaud gained experience at USTDA as an Acting Country Manager in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eurasia region and as an International Grants Specialist. Prior to USTDA, Ms. Michaud worked at the Executive Office of the President within the Office of Management and Budget where she oversaw management and budget initiatives in its Health Division. Ms. Michaud also served as a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Michaud holds a Master's Degree in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She graduated with honors from Elon University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies.
