Isabel Sepulveda, Country Manager, Latin American and the Caribbean Region
Ms. Sepulveda is a Country Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. In this role, she manages various responsibilities within the region's portfolio of infrastructure development activities, including energy and water sector activities in Brazil, the Peru portfolio, and regional activities developed under the Global Procurement Initiative or in collaboration with multilateral development banks. Previously, she covered Global Programs for USTDA, promoting the development of the Global Procurement Initiative, implementing strategic policy initiatives and conducting outreach to multilateral financial institutions. She also serves on the Agency's Telecommunications/ICT Sector Team.
Prior to joining USTDA, Ms. Sepulveda spent four years in Santiago, Chile coordinating academic outreach programs at the Center for International Studies of the Catholic University of Chile, and spent one year in São Paulo, Brazil as a National Security Education Program Boren Scholar. Ms. Sepulveda earned a Master's degree in International Affairs with a concentration in international business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in International Studies.
