Sarah Shapiro, Country Manager, South and Southeast Asia Region
Sarah Shapiro currently serves as the Country Manager for South Asia at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). Prior to joining the South and Southeast Asia team, she was the Country Manager for the Middle East and North Africa from 2008-2010. Before joining USTDA, Ms. Shapiro worked in the private sector for International Business Government-Counsellors (IBC). There she advised Fortune 500 clients on a broad range of international trade and investment issues within emerging markets.
Ms. Shapiro holds a Master's Degree with Honors in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University's Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and BA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
