India Cold Chain Training Program and Orientation Visit

USTDA is sponsoring a program to strengthen India's cold chain infrastructure by providing state-of-the-art training to stakeholders in the Indian cold chain sector regarding proper post-harvest handling, transportation, and storage of fresh fruits and vegetables, and other perishable commodities. USTDA held a series of cold chain workshops in India (Chennai and Mumbai in November/December 2007 and New Delhi and Kolkata in March 2008), and will sponsor a U.S. study tour in October/November 2008 for a select group of workshop attendees to receive more specialized training.
