Turkey Energy Efficiency Reverse Trade Mission

Dates: December 7-18, 2009

Location: Washington, DC; Harrisburg, PA; and San Francisco, CA

USTDA will host a delegation of 10 Government of Turkey officials responsible for the oversight and promotion of energy service company (ESCO) energy efficiency projects in public buildings. During the visit, participants will visit Washington, DC; Harrisburg, PA and San Francisco CA to examine policies, regulations, laws and incentives at the state and federal level that enable ESCOS to implement energy efficiency improvements in public buildings.

A Business Briefing will be conducted on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at USTDA’s Business Center in Arlington, VA, during which delegates will discuss the policy framework supporting energy efficiency in public buildings in Turkey and potential project opportunities for U.S./Turkish ESCO joint ventures.
