U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa: Partners in Aviation Conference

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Transportation Security Administration, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Commercial Service, is hosting a conference that will bring together SSA aviation stakeholders with U.S. aviation suppliers to strengthen strategic and commercial relationships between the aviation industries of Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States. The agenda will focus on the region's upcoming investments in aviation safety and security and present key project opportunities for U.S. firms. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about more than 30 bankable project opportunities in areas including: air traffic management and safety, air traffic control capacity and efficiency, air navigation and communications, airspace architecture, air cargo infrastructure airport and aircraft security, airport development, and general aviation. Registered U.S. company representatives may request one-on-one meetings with senior level officials from Sub-Saharan government ministries, potential African partners, and U.S. government agencies. Sponsorship opportunities, which include tabletop exhibit space and increased recognition throughout the event, are available.
