China Building Energy Efficiency and Urban Sustainable Development Training Program

Dates: September 12-26, 2010

Locations: San Francisco, CA, Sacramento, CA, and Portland, OR

This training program will provide opportunities for Chinese mayors to meet with officials from U.S. government entities with responsibility for low-carbon urbanization planning and development. The delegation will also be exposed to U.S. technological solutions that can assist China with its efforts in reducing energy intensity. Delegates will include 25 mayors being trained at the National Academy of Mayors for China. The visit will feature meetings with U.S. industry and U.S. government agencies, as well as site visits, in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Portland.
