Nigeria Secure Banking Solutions Reverse Trade Mission

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is funding a ten-day reverse trade mission to the U.S. for senior-level government officials who are responsible for implementing the Central Bank of Nigeria’s ICT modernization and secure banking solutions program. The purpose of the reverse trade mission is to provide an opportunity for the CBN’s decision makers to better understand U.S. capabilities and practical experiences in the implementation of ICT modernization and secure banking solutions. The visit will take place from April 26 to May 7, 2010 and include meetings and site visits in New York, NY, Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley areas. The delegation’s itinerary will include a visit to the U.S. Federal Reserve. There will be a one-day business briefing a the San Jose Marriott in San Jose, CA on May 5, 2010 where U.S. firms may learn more about the Central Bank of Nigeria and its ICT needs and meet with the delegates. U.S. companies are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the upcoming procurement opportunities at the Central Bank of Nigeria.
