South Africa Energy Efficient Building Solutions Reverse Trade Mission

This Reverse Trade Mission will bring a delegation of ten public and private sector representatives from South Africa’s property management sector to explore opportunities to reduce electricity usage in large building complexes. The visit will include a Business Briefing at the Energy Efficiency Global Forum and Exposition (EE Global) 2010 on Tuesday, May 11, at the Washington DC Convention Center. The visit will also feature meetings with U.S. industry and U.S. government agencies in Washington, DC and New York City on state-of-the-art energy saving technologies, as well as financing strategies and policy incentives for implementing energy efficient building solutions. The goal of the visit is to foster partnerships between the U.S. and South Africa on energy efficiency initiatives.
