Turkey Intelligent Transportation Systems Reverse Trade Mission

Dates: January 29-February 4, 2012

Locations: Washington, DC; Houston, TX

This Reverse Trade Mission will introduce delegates from the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology in the United States. The delegates will travel to Washington, DC and Houston, TX to gain exposure to advanced ITS technology through site visits and meetings with leading U.S. firms in this sector. The delegation will visit with transit agencies, traffic control design centers, electronic tolling centers, metro transit and research facilities for vehicle technologies, as well as relevant U.S. government agencies. The RTM will also provide an opportunity for the delegation to discuss upcoming ITS projects in Izmir with interested U.S. companies.

A Business Briefing will be held in Washington, D.C. on February 1, 2012.
