U.S.–Turkey Smart Grid Reverse Trade Mission

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting a delegation of Turkish electricity sector officials on a visit to the United States to participate in the U.S.-Turkey Smart Grid Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) to take place in San Antonio, Austin and Houston, Texas from January 27 to January 31, 2014. As a follow-on activity to the U.S.-Turkey Smart Grid Workshop in December 2013, the RTM is designed to showcase best practices to support the incorporation of smart grid technology into Turkey's electricity grid. Through attending the DistribuTECH Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio, TX and meeting individually with U.S. companies and utilities, the RTM will introduce the delegation to leading U.S. technologies and services, which will foster the development of partnerships between the United States and Turkey in the electricity sector.
