USTDA NAMES NEW CHIEF OF STAFF AND DIRECTOR FOR CONGRESSIONAL AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – The U.S. Trade and Development Agency welcomes Christopher Wyant as the Agency’s new Chief of Staff and announces that Thomas R. Hardy will assume the responsibilities of Director for Congressional Affairs and Public Relations.
Christopher Wyant joins USTDA after serving as the Economics Director of the Presidential Personnel Office at the White House. While working at the White House, he was responsible for overseeing all Presidential appointments at economic agencies and commissions. Prior to serving at the White House, Mr. Wyant held a number of leadership roles on Barack Obama’s Presidential Campaign. Mr. Wyant began his career in finance at Credit Suisse in New York City.
Thomas R. Hardy assumes responsibilities for Congressional Affairs and Public Relations after serving for five years as Chief of Staff and prior to that as a Country Manager for the sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia regions. Mr. Hardy began his career working for the Committee on Ways and Means before joining the U.S. International Trade Commission as a senior advisor to Commissioner Thelma J. Askey.
