EGYPT: FORWARD FORUM ATTRACTS SENIOR PARTICIPATION FROM EGYPT

ARLINGTON, VA – Today, USTDA announces the confirmation of additional senior level participation from the Egyptian private and public sectors to the Egypt: Forward Forum that is taking place in Washington, D.C. on June 27-28. Recently confirmed participants include:
- Captain Ayman Nasr, Chairman of EgyptAir Airline
- Mr. Alexander Shalaby, CEO of Mobinil, the largest cell phone company in Egypt
- His Excellency Dr. Magued Osman, Minister of Communications and Information Technology
- His Excellency Dr. Ayman Abu-Hadid, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation
Egypt: Forward is a two-day forum on June 27-28, 2011 that will encourage enhanced trade and sustainable economic development in Egypt. By bringing over 60 leading Egyptian policy makers and private sector executives together with U.S. business leaders and government officials, the Forum will provide an unprecedented opportunity to foster increased cooperation and trade between the United States and Egypt by encouraging business-to-business networking and highlighting commercial opportunities and financing resources. Breakout sessions will focus on four priority economic sectors: energy, information and communications technologies, transportation and agriculture.
