USTDA DIRECTOR TO ADDRESS SMART GRID INTEROPERABILITY PANEL CONFERENCE
|To Highlight Business Opportunities for U.S. Companies in Emerging Economies|
ARLINGTON, VA - U.S. Trade and Development Agency Director Leocadia I. Zak will open the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) Conference: Progress through Collaboration on November 6, 2013 in Palm Beach, FL. Given the extensive work USTDA has undertaken to promote smart grid deployment in emerging markets around the globe, Director Zak will highlight specific examples where the Agency's programs have opened doors for exports of U.S. smart grid technologies. In addition, the presentation will highlight future investments in smart grid infrastructure development programs that are vital to the overall success of the Administration's Power Africa Initiative and the U.S.-Asia Pacific Comprehensive Energy Partnership.
