Making Global Local

Making Global Local is an initiative designed to connect towns and cities across the country with USTDA's export-promoting programs. Over the past year, U.S. companies have increasingly targeted emerging economies as export destinations. Given its unique role, USTDA is perfectly positioned to support U.S. businesses interested in entering or expanding their presence in developing and middle-income countries.

East Asia and Eurasia Featured in July

As part of its goal to highlight priority sectors and regions each month, USTDA selected July to showcase the East Asia and Eurasia region. Throughout the month, USTDA will utilize its website and social media platforms to provide info on export opportunities in the region as well as a webinar, which will be offered on July 26th.

USTDA Supports Smart Grid Implementation Efforts in Mexico

MEXICO CITY – The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) awarded a $405,000 grant to the Comisión Reguladora de Energía (CRE) June 26th to support the development of a regulatory framework for smart grid implementation in Mexico. The grant was signed at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City by CRE Chairman Francisco Xavier Salazar Diez de Sollano and USTDA Country Manager Keith Eischeid.
