Making Global Local is an initiative designed to connect towns and cities across the country with USTDA's export-promoting programs. Over the past year, U.S. companies have increasingly targeted emerging economies as export destinations. Given its unique role, USTDA is perfectly positioned to support U.S. businesses interested in entering or expanding their presence in developing and middle-income countries.

USTDA Supports Data Center Development in Egypt

CAIRO, EGYPT – On July 13, 2012 USTDA partnered with the Egyptian private sector company Raya Holding for Technology and Communications S.A.E. to provide a feasibility study grant that will support Raya’s investment in a new data center with cloud computing services. Raya Data Center, a new company launched in 2012, will offer the scalability, security, and reliability that are necessary to meet the growing requirements of the public and private sector in Egypt and throughout the Middle East and Africa.

July 26 : Webinar - learn about how to take advantage of USTDA's programs and activities; learn more about environment/water sector projects in East Asia and Eurasia

August 21 / August 29 : Business Briefings - U.S. companies will have the opportunity to meet with officials from China's Ministry of Transportation and regional bureaus to learn about export opportunities in the country's Transportation Safety & Disaster Rescue Coordination sector. Two briefings will be held in New York and Los Angeles.
