May 4-10, 2014 : Brazil Passenger Rail Signaling and Power Systems Upgrade Reverse Trade Mission – Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; and Pittsburgh, PA - The objective of the visit is to familiarize Brazilian officials with signaling, power station, and switchgear motorization technologies. The delegates will participate in site visits, as well as meetings with related U.S. government, private entities and financial entities.

May 28-30, 2014 : ConnectMEX: U.S.-Mexico Transport and Telecom Conference – Mexico City, Mexico - The Government of Mexico is expected to invest more than $100 billion to modernize its transportation and telecommunications sectors over the next five years. In order to support the country's ambitious reform efforts and position U.S. companies for success in implementing critical infrastructure projects supporting Mexico's 2013-2018 National Development Plan, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and Mexico's Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) are partnering to host ConnectMEX: U.S.-Mexico Transport and Telecom Conference from May 28-30, 2014 in Mexico City.

June 8-18, 2014 : Morocco Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Reverse Trade Mission – San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO - The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will host a delegation of key public sector officials from Morocco's energy sector on a visit to the United States to participate in the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Reverse Trade Mission (RTM).

China: Fuel Cell Application for Telecommunications - A USTDA grant is partially funding a Feasibility Study and pilot project for Jiangsu Communications Services Company, Ltd. to evaluate fuel cell applications within the telecommunications infrastructure in China and achieve a design that is targeted and acceptable to the vast potential of the Chinese market. Brazil: Statewide Airport Modernization - The objective of the Bahia Statewide Airport Modernization technical assistance is to produce a statewide airport capital improvement plan and to develop a roadmap and implementation plan for the modernization and expansion of the airport network in Bahia, Brazil. Africa: Fiber Optic Network Implementation - USTDA funded a feasibility study to evaluate the technical, financial and other critical aspects of extending Cape Town's municipal optic fiber backbone and implementing a Wi-Fi network (Metropolitan Optic Fiber Network, MOFN) in two of the municipality's townships, Khayelitsha and Mitchells Plain. Ghana: Airport Refurbishment - In June 2013, USTDA approved funding to partially fund a technical assistance ("TA") grant for the Ghana Airport Company Limited ("Grantee") to develop construction design documents for the Kotoka International Airport Terminal Refurbishment Phase II ("Project"). This TA serves as a follow-up to the previously USTDA-funded Kotoka International Airport Terminal Refurbishment Phase I Project TA. More info
