Country Manager, Indo-Pacific

Anna Pitzer is a Country Manager for the Indo-Pacific region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this role, she is responsible for business development, project preparation, and supervision of USTDA’s multimillion-dollar project portfolio in the surface transportation, maritime transportation, and healthcare infrastructure industries across the Indo-Pacific region. As Country Manager, she also engages with public and private stakeholders to align initiatives with U.S. government, U.S. industry, and partner country priorities in these sectors.

Prior to USTDA, Ms. Pitzer was a contractor for the Science and Technology Directorate within the Department of Homeland Security, facilitating domestic and international collaboration for research and development of cutting-edge computing technologies. Her previous professional experience includes leading interagency cooperation and operational excellence programs on a wide range of issues spanning management, technology, and critical infrastructure within the U.S. government, private industries, and non-government organizations across Latin America and Asia.

Ms. Pitzer holds a Master of International Public Policy in Strategic Studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), as well as an MBA from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the Fundação Lusíada in Brazil.
