USTDA is hiring a U.S. contractor to serve as a financing and implementation manager on the Africa regional team. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa this GS-14/15 equivalent personal service contract is USTDA’s senior resident representative in South Africa, responsible for helping ensure USTDA’s activities in Africa reach successful completion and financial close. The PSC represents USTDA at the U.S. Mission in South Africa and throughout the continent, working directly with other U.S. government representatives, African public and private sector representatives, the U.S. private sector, and financing institutions.

The Africa Regional Team focuses on identifying projects for USTDA funding consideration that promote U.S. national security and commercial interests throughout the region. While USTDA projects span a variety of sectors, the Agency’s program in the region focuses on the critical minerals, energy, transportation, and digital sectors.
