Acting General Counsel
Kendra D. Link currently serves as Acting General Counsel at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity, Ms. Link serves as the chief legal officer and member of USTDA’s executive management team. She is responsible for providing authoritative legal advice on a diverse portfolio of issues and leading the team of attorneys in USTDA’s Office of the General Counsel.
Since joining USTDA in 2005, Ms. Link has served in a variety of capacities. As the Senior Advisor for Policy and Operations, she provided comprehensive counsel, policy and procedural analysis and interpretation, and strategic guidance on programmatic and operational activities affecting the Agency’s mission-related functions. As an Attorney-Advisor and Assistant General Counsel working closely with USTDA’s program teams, Ms. Link represented USTDA on projects in over 65 countries.
During her career, Ms. Link also served as a Special Advisor for one of the largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Florida. In addition, she has provided legal and advisory consulting services to the federal government and nonprofit organizations on a range of issues throughout her career. A graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia, Ms. Link received her law degree at Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
