Business Briefing: Thailand Clean Power Generation Solutions

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is hosting an Executive Leadership Training Program to familiarize senior decision-makers from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT),  the state-owned power utility responsible for electric power generation and transmission, with state-of-the-art U.S. technologies, best practices, financing mechanisms and regulatory frameworks to enable clean power generation and grid enhancing projects.

Program 1: Clean Power Generation Solutions: The program focuses on clean power generation and energy transition  technologies including hydrogen and carbon capture utilization, and storage. The training program itinerary includes meetings and site visits in Washington, DC  (May 15 – 21),  Houston, TX  (May 22 – 24) and Denver, CO (May 25 – 27)  with U.S. government agencies, regulators, financing organizations,  industry associations, and U.S. technology and equipment providers. This is the first part of a two-part training series.
