The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will be hosting a delegation of senior officials from relevant ministries and state-owned enterprises in Burma for a Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) focused on the gas industry and gas-fired power. The delegates will have the opportunity to learn about U.S. technology and service capabilities for construction, operation, maintenance, and refurbishment of gas-fired power plants, along with regulatory and related environmental best practices for the energy sector. In addition, the RTM will also include a Business Briefing, where U.S. companies can learn about upcoming gas industry and gas-fired power project opportunities in Burma and meet with the senior level decision-making delegates.

Meridian International Center is organizing the RTM on behalf of USTDA. For more information on the event, please contact Program Manager, Lauren Paraggio, by e-mail at RTM@meridian.org or by phone at (202) 939-5863.
