China Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Study Tour

The U.S. Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting a study tour on Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for officials from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Chinese judiciaries. The study tour will introduce the delegates to the U.S. system of intellectual property protection, with a specific focus on the judicial enforcement of IPR. Participants will tour U.S. courts and meet with U.S. industry representatives to discuss opportunities and challenges in protecting IPR. This study tour will include meetings in Washington, D.C. and Madison, WI. This study tour will be co-hosted with the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (PTO) and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR).
