Date: September 12 - 16, 2016
Locations: Houston, TX; Washington, D.C.
PRINTPRINT

In the lead-up to the U.S.-Africa Business Forum, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency is hosting a reverse trade mission to introduce high-level representatives from South Africa’s natural gas sector to state-of-the-art U.S. technologies, equipment and services that can support the implementation of gas-to-power projects in South Africa. The RTM will include meetings with public and private sector representatives from the U.S. natural gas industry and site visits that demonstrate U.S. gas-to-power technologies and infrastructure. Delegates will include representatives from key public sector stakeholders (such as the South African Department of Energy; South Africa’s national electric utility, Eskom; the National Energy Regulator of South Africa; and the Independent Power Producers Office), South African financiers (including the Industrial Development Corporation and the Development Bank of Southern Africa), and private sector South African companies and industry associations.

This RTM supports the goals of Power Africa, a U.S. Government-led initiative to increase electricity access in sub-Saharan Africa.

It is being organized by the Global Marketing & Communications. For more information about how your company can participate in the RTM, please contact Olympia Brescia via email at obrescia@gmc-ideas.com or via telephone at 781.641.2900.
