Brazil Cargo Rail Technologies Reverse Trade Mission

USTDA will host a Cargo Rail Technologies Reverse Trade Mission bringing decision-makers from Brazil’s rail industry to the United States to see innovative U.S. equipment, technologies, and services that can support the country’s rail cargo development goals. The visit will focus on rail efficiency, signaling, locomotive modernization and maintenance, railway management, positive train control, sensor based data management software, real time incident response, fire detection and prevention systems, and technologies for hazardous cargo rail operators. During the visit, delegates will travel to Washington, D.C. and Chicago, IL to meet with U.S. companies, industry associations, and government agencies where they will discuss making improvements to efficiency, safety, and logistics in the cargo rail sector.

As part of the itinerary, USTDA will host a business briefing for U.S. businesses in Chicago, IL on August 27, 2018.
