South Asia Regional Manager

USTDA is hiring a U.S. contractor to serve as the Agency’s South Asia regional manager. Based in New Delhi, India this GS-14/15 equivalent personal service contractor is USTDA’s senior resident representative in India and is responsible for representing and promoting USTDA’s program in the Indo-Pacific region, with a focus on South Asia. The PSC represents USTDA at the U.S. Embassy in India and works directly with other U.S. government representatives, South Asian public and private sector representatives, the U.S. private sector, and financing institutions. Key responsibilities include representing the Agency at USTDA conferences and workshops throughout South Asia; coordinating USTDA’s program among U.S. government interagency partners at the U.S. Embassy and Consulates across South Asia; and working with South Asian public and private sector as well as U.S. private sector representatives to develop and implement project preparation activities with USTDA funding.

The South Asia Regional Team focuses on identifying projects for USTDA funding consideration that promote U.S. national security and commercial interests across the South Asia Region. While USTDA projects span a variety of sectors, the Agency’s program in the South Asia region focuses on the critical minerals, energy, transportation, digital, and healthcare infrastructure sectors.
