
Country Manager, Indo-Pacific
Brian Steiner is a Country Manager for the Indo-Pacific Region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. In this role, he is responsible for business development and project preparation, management and supervision of USTDA activities in the region, with a focus on the railway, ports, and surface transportation sectors in South Asia.
Before joining USTDA, Mr. Steiner worked as a contractor providing research and analytical support to the Agency’s Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eurasia team. His previous professional experience includes work at the U.S. Department of State, think tanks, and as a Fulbright English Teacher in Cyprus.
Mr. Steiner holds an M.A. in International Affairs and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
