Matt Schwab is a Country Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), where he focuses on Central America and the Andean Region. In this capacity, he is responsible for advancing strategic infrastructure projects in the Agency’s priority sectors of critical minerals, digital infrastructure, energy, and transportation. He also co-leads USTDA’s Traditional Energy and Power Industry Team.
Prior to joining USTDA, Mr. Schwab served as a Director in KPMG’s Infrastructure practice, where he led projects across the energy, telecommunications, and transportation spaces. He previously worked for the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, The Scowcroft Group, energy developers in Mexico and Brazil, and Partners Global.
Mr. Schwab holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
