Pablo Viera

Pablo Viera is a Program Evaluation Manager for the Office of Program Monitoring and Evaluation and covers the Sub-Saharan Africa and Indo-Pacific portfolios. In this role, he manages the evaluation process to assess the outcomes of activities funded.

Before his current role, Pablo held two positions supporting USTDA through the Agency’s Research and Analysis Program Services contract with Ascendant Program Services, LLC. First, he supported the Latin America and the Caribbean team as a Research Analyst, and then served as the Evaluation Analyst supporting USTDA primarily through evaluation assessments of recently completed activities.

Prior to USTDA, Pablo was a Program Associate at Freedom House, where he helped design the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plans for grant proposals, as well as analyzed M&E data for ongoing projects.

Pablo holds a Master’s in International Development Studies from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and a BA in Journalism with minors in Economics and International Affairs from the University of South Florida. Pablo is fluent in Spanish.
