USTDA awarded a feasibility study grant to Société de Production d’Energie Solaria de Kodéni SAS for two 17 megawatt solar photovoltaic plants in Burkina Faso. This project presents a U.S. export potential of $27M in PV cells, modules, inverters, racks and engineering services.
USTDA’s support has helped develop significant wind power in Vietnam. The Agency layered several of its program tools to help Vietnam transform the entire sector, including developing appropriate regulations as well as building its first near-offshore wind farm.
Working together with a Jordanian energy company and Colorado-based CH2M Hill, USTDA’s early project preparation assistance laid the groundwork for the recent inauguration of a 52.5 MW solar power facility in Ma’an, Jordan.
